Our Teacher's

Art is interwoven within and around each and every person. It is Myla's passion to teach young hearts and minds to recognize and appreciate this very notion. She believes in inspiring, motivating and encouraging children to go beyond the lines and outside the proverbial box. Myla is currently finishing her Bachelors in Art Education with an emphasis on Painting and Drawing at the Academy of Art University. She previously worked as an art instructor at the Boys and Girls Club in Huntington Beach before arriving at Color My World. She is knowledgeable in acrylics, oil, watercolor and sculpting, but her love lies in creating mixed media pieces. She is presently working on her very first collection. “When our eyes are more aware of the world around us, the inspirations and the appreciations unlock the box of creativity we all innately possess."

"Hi, My name is Celine Quiming, but our students call me Ms. Celine! I have worked at CMW since 2013. During my time teaching students from Pre-K to high school at the studio, I pursued my undergraduate degree in art education, with an emphasis in drawing and painting from CSUF. Now that I have received my degree, I am now currently getting my teaching credential at CSUF as well for secondary ed. Working at CMW for the past 3 years has really been a joy as well as a passion. I love the multicultural aspect of our curriculum as well as the fundamental artistic techniques we teach our students. With the amount of TLC (tender, love, and care) we give to all our students at CMW, they will all grow into bright, well trained students in many aspects of the visual arts."
